About

Welcome To L’Huitrière

This restaurant is located in a typical patrician house, fully panelled and decorated with Breughelian paintings, in the historical centre of Brussels. His felt like and opulent-looking ambiance has been adulated by many famous artists. Jean Marais, Jean Piat, Jean-Louis Trintignant or Bernard Blier (who was really an unconditional fan of the lobster “beurre de Corail”), have frequented this surprising place. Besides the “Prince of the shellfishes”, the kitchen favours the seafood: plate of seafood, big soles “meunière” and many other fishes, are delighting the most demanding gourmets..

“The only address in Sainte-Catherine”

“Small warm terrace, top service and what to say on the plate?? We were seduced from the beginning to the end. A tip: lobster grill with basil lime. Delightful.”

“An original setting, an excellent meal accompanied by a glass of wine, the cooking of cod was perfect. A big plus for the waitress for her warm welcome.”

Trip Advisor

“Amazing restaurant”

“Great restaurant! I have never been disappointed… I go very often for lunch and for 17 euros we are super spoiled: starter, main course and dessert with 3 choices every time! I have already sent many friends who were all delighted…”

“To know for its quality”

“A restaurant to know, for its quality, its service, its correct prices, a card allowing many choices. Same for the choice of wines. But also a very nice decor. A place to discover for both an occasion and a business dinner. Nothing negative, only qualities.”
